Services
The farmers resort to selling their crops to middle men to reduce the cost of travel and distribution. The middle men, exploit the farmers as they buy the crops at a minimal amount and sell them at the market for a much higher price.
The farmer has no choice but to comply as they cannot afford to spend money on distribution and selling of their crops at the markets to the final consumers, respectively.
We aim at alleviating the problems faced by the farmers by proving them with a direct line of contact with the final consumers. This is done with the help of the NGO - CFM(community friendly movement.) Working with them we ensure that the farmers get the maximum value in return for their crops, and provide them with eduction about online transactions, so they can purchase seeds, certain fertilisers (as the government has placed restrictions on the sale of certain fertilisers) and other raw materials. The online method reduces the profit made previously by the middle men.
We also educate the villagers on online transaction for their day to day lives. This is done through a centralised approach. We educate one villager from each village about the intricacies of online payments of bills, filing of forms and online shopping. This member then sets up a depot and charges a fee for the services he provides the other members of the village. This ensures his livelihood and saves money for the other villagers who can, instead of spending money on transport and paying outside agencies for services, have a depot in their own village and the money they pay goes to a member of the same village and adds to the economy of the village and has a multipliers effect.
